One of the biggest problems with the way others look at people suffering from eating disorders is that they believe the solution is so simple. It doesn't work to just tell them to eat more and stop obsessing with their self image. Its a really complex issue stemming from many things. Finding a fix-all solution to these disorders would be about as easy as accomplishing world peace.
