I don't know who's more of an idiot... the turd who punches like a bitch, or the guy who just stood there with his hands at his sides. It's not like it wasn't really fucking obvious that punch was coming.
It's amazing how so many people don't consider a vehicle to be a weapon. The guy was ramming the cars with his vehicle, and obviously had no intention of ending it peacefully. He chose to run from the police, and then he chose to use his vehicle as a weapon when he was cornered. This isn't a tragic. It's some dumb ass who had to deal with the choices he made.

The amount of internet tough guy talk in the comment section is hilarious. I would be surprised if even one person in this comment sections would really turn to violence on this cop. I'm in no way condoning his actions, but his overreaction doesnt even compare to some of the comments about wanting to shoot him and his family, kill him, etc. Talk about fucking hypocrites. And shut the fuck up about the poor kids. Even if the cop overreacted, I bet they'll think twice about skating on private property next time.
Hitting your defense attorney should void all of your rights to having a defense. Thats just asking to be found guilty.

Yes, the guy was resisting and going for the gun. I would've become really physical at that point too. Also, for all you people crying about him being retarded, I have 2 things for you: First, it's not always apparent right off that he has problems. This guy looked like he was just a drunk. Second, I have an adopted brother that is MENTALLY handicapped, but physically he is like anyone else. This guy may have mental problems, but it looks like hes physically capable of doing things any normal person could.

You should consider: Whenever a cop goes to a fight, at least one gun is involved. I doubt the cop would've used deadly force at that point in time, but if the fatass had started wrestling with him and trying to hit him, maybe. A cop CANNOT lose a fight under any circumstance, because if they lose the fight they lose their gun.
I hate pedestrians who walk out into the road without even looking. They think because they have the right away they can just throw themselves in front of cars. She didn't even look, it's not like the cars were moving terribly fast.

You people claiming the drunk was not a threat and the violence wasn't called for are fucking delusional. It doesn't matter if he wasn't throwing more punches. He was struggling to resist arrest when they were trying to cuff him. What else are they supposed to do? Ask him 'please' over and over all day? The cop tried to handcuff him, and told him to get on the ground, and all he did was struggle to get away. He was perfectly fine in using force to subdue him at that point.
