It seems there's been a lot of anti-soldier stuff as of late. I know some of the guys over there do some stupid crap, but I think it's a little out of balance here. Our soldiers are fighting for us out there and are doing plenty of good things too, but it seems very convenient that all we see is bits and clips of the bigger picture.

I am by no means trying to defend the guy's actions, but when your own people and the media constantly mess up your ability for you to do your job, I understand some frustration. At any rate, I'd like to see some good vids of our guys doing the good stuff too, since they have to be out there.

Hmmm...I'd like more info on this. Those guys didn't seem very professional at all, but then again the kid was whining and being a little prick. He should have saved himself some dignity and just went along with the rent-a-cops. If they didn't conduct themselves properly he could have had em for a good many charges. But for God's sake if you're going to put up a fight...at least make it a decent one where you aren't crying about it. icon_rolleyes.gif

But to the point, I think the cops usually get the bad end of the deal in these things and it seems many want to just blame them for everything. And green_cat...good point about him not looking at the camera. If he was right he would've spoke with more conviction and looked directly at the camera. I have to say even though high speed chases can be deadly, it is a greater risk to leave these people out there. Justice needs to be served. And this way we show there is no place to hide and nowhere you can run if you want to break the laws.

And yes...the key word for his crime is Felony. I'm not saying chase down everyone at 100mph who bailed on bad checks or something, but these types of crimes need to be dealt with so they won't bring harm to countless others. Plus, what kind of example would we be setting if our cops gave up on chasing someone each time they started to go too fast? icon_neutral.gif

Such senseless violence icon_sad.gif 15 months is just plain silly. They really need to start having greater sentences for this type of thing to curb it. I hope these pricks get some good beatings in prison while they do that time. And I would try to help those guys if I could...no one deserves a random beating like that for no reason.
