I totally agree, my friend is a Veteran and has alot of experience with both weapons and he prefers the AK-47 over the M-16 aswell, mostly for the same reasons, the Ak tears through most anything and can be dropped submerged in water sand whatever and still fire, as where the M-16 is very prone to jamming even when using it's three round burst, also there is a sniper variant of the russian AK-47 that is a great sniper rifle, just a little add-on there... icon_beer.gif
