"explain why pitbulls are the only breed that you hear about killing or attacking kids and adults? every attack i can remember in the news has been by pitbulls" There are not as many as you are lead to believe. First, the name "Pitbull" is an attention grabber for the media, so they will use it as often as they can. If 10 people per year are bitten by "Pits" that gets reported but the 50 bites by Yellow Labs don`t get reported. Second, the dog doing the biting may not be a Pitbull. Most people will blame any biting dog as a Pit, they are an easy target. By the way, I have rescued Pitbulls for years, I currently have 13.
