seriously, she failed to comply with a lawful order to disperse so she paid the price for her actions....although he might have been a little over the top with his response... icon_rolleyes.gif

This just in...
... While taking his gun out to put it in a locker for safe keeping, an officer discharges his firearm once... shooting himself in the buttox and an intake officer in the leg, causing pain and injury to both individuals...this startled the officer, causing him to drop said gun to floor... with prisoners less than three feet away, officer looks at the weapon...runs past the weapon, leaving it on the floor, he checks to see the extent of the injury of the other wounder officer. He run/limps back to the original location...gives a brief order to a nearby prisoner...takes off his Members Only khaki colored vest to use as a compress to stem the flow of blood and anal juices...in an effort to regain control and establish order, the prisoners are ordered to their knees briefly. then ushered out of the hallway. plain clothes officer now frantically searches his blood stained vest for something, maybe his car keys...maybe his attorney's phone number... He then is escorted to face the music

when a perp is in cuffs they still can kick, spit, headbutt, knee...all of that = assault on a p.o. The officer can take necessary steps to overcome and stop the assault. five or six punches to the head is abusive.

what the officers never should do is KICK someone in the head while they are on the ground (and/or cuffed)
