Police officers are held to a higher standard by society. They are authority figures, like teachers or parents. As the ones setting examples, it is NOT okay to stoop to the level of a common criminal, and react in a violent manner. While cops may be human with human faults and emotions, restraint and discipline are what separate them and civilians. It has everything to do with being the "bigger" man, and nothing to do with being a "pussy". And vids like this do hurt good cops' reputations.
