To all, Obviously liacon got his panties in a wad over the comment i left him(which comes as no surprise),and since he couldnt run and tell Scott or any of the mods without looking like a little bitch, he came up with the brilliant idea to make up some bullshit and post it in his shoutbox for everyone to read. For anyone coming to my shoutbox in regards to the comment I left for liacon, dont get the wrong idea, im not starting shit or anything, I did that simply to prove a point, being that liacon will now go run and cry to Scott and all the mods about it, which is pathetic. And within the next 24 hours my shoutbox will fill up with messages from the mods telling me to leave him alone, unless of course liacon happens to see this before hand, in which case he would then most likely have MA leave me a message telling me to leave her husband alone and then he would still go cry to the mods about all this. Where is scott's shoutbox? My friends and my kid and her friends were voting me up (had to tell them to quit, how fucking petty) and a certain user (which I'm pretty damn sure by the comments either friends or himself are doing the voting) was dogging me about getting cotd. Again how petty. Now I actually don't want to get cotd (just a little icon that don't mean shit anyway). Was fun just trying to come up with some funny shit, but now it's like how dare I come up with something witty. Anyway, was just wondering if you could tell me where to find Scotts box. Could be interesting to read who the whinny little people are.

Yes, I have emailed Scott last night but I doubt I will get a response. From what I gather he hasn't been answering emails lately. He's probably fed up with it all. ...btw, just wanted you to know that I wasn't blasting the mods yesterday. I think they are a bunch of good guys. I just don't think the way one or two are handling this COTD business is helping matters. It only adds fuel to the fire when you repeatedly confirm that people are cheating to achieve COTD yet do little to try and solve the problem. It literally kills member morale and confidence.

I don't care that much either but apparently some do...If you've been paying attention, you will have noticed that certain mods are making comments on the vcs (AGAIN) eluding to members voting themselves up to achieve COTD. If I were a mod and I KNEW FOR A FACT a member was voting himself up to achieve COTD, I wouldn't hesitate to email him with a stern warning to knock it off and tell him that if he didn't stop, it will result in his losing his posting priviledges on the vcs. THAT is how I would handle it as a mod. All this fucking bullshit of "I'm a mod and I know something that you don't" stuff gets on my nerves sometimes - Mods are supposed to rise above it ALL. Most of them do but apparently one or two sit in front of their computers all day watching every move that members make and instead of taking action on the "wrongdoers" and trying to solve a problem in private, they wanna plant seeds into the minds of members on the vcs - in essence, keeping the bullshit going about the stupid COTD ....Scott should make me a mod. 'Cause if mods can TRULY "see it all", I'd show 'em what being an effective mod was all about. I'd stop the complaints about COTD without Scott even having to get rid of it.

Hope all is well with you too...and I just wanted to share a few thoughts with you - if I am not 100% sure a member is cheating to win a medal, I'd much rather assume he's not than to assume he is. The only person who can be 100% sure is YOU. Mods may be able to tell how many accounts are associated with an IP address/email address and if they are being used to vote oneself up, but they can't be 100% sure that it is you who is doing it. They'd have to make some assumptions..like, 1. Single person household 2. single user computer 3. single user of an email address associated with accounts and so on...what if several members of the same household were fans of NT and all had accounts and all used the same 2 or 3 computers and all voted each other up. Think about it...it's just an example and may even be a bit farfetched. But this is the reason why I'd much rather assume people are playing fair because none of us can really be sure. Think about it...and sorry for being so long winded! ...ps, some of your comments rank right up there with the best of them...so it's not so unbelievable that you'd achieve COTD occasionally....for what it's worth.
