Since you can't starve a fire that feeds itself of oxygen and fuel, and you can't cool it down below it's combustion temp you have to do either of those 2 things.

Alright lets look at the facts. First that looked like a heavy piece of metal on top of a guy. It's odd how he tries to stand up and picks up the whole thing like the lid is really not that heavy, maybe the lid is like a wench it only operates in 1 direction. Pressure on the lungs. This may sound stupid but it will help you understand. Take a 10 ft hollow pipe, put 1 end in your mouth, leave the other on the ground and swim to the bottom of a 10 foot pool and try to breathe. You can't the pressure on your body prevents the expansion of your lungs. So as soon as enough pressure is put on this guy he losses the ability to breath. He is already in duress from being trapped so the 30 seconds to suffocation sounds about right. At least he didn't die from his head being crushed. At the 55 second mark when you see the shadow, the guy is already dead, no movement no sound. I could see how someone could walk through and not notice him. If you just saw the last frame of the video without knowing what just happened, how long would it take you to see the only thing left to plain sight, his lifeless legs?

All you do is turn the key one click from it's current position, it will kill the car and not lock the steering wheel. "ALL" vehicles are designed with this in mind. One of the only things you can learn from the military is that you never, ever, and I mean never, lock your knees while your standing long periods of time. I don't understand the mechanism but it makes you pass out. I was outside in 90 degree heat during a ceremony once. We were all decked out in our white uniforms and someone locked their knees, passed out on concrete face first. Knocked out 5 teeth and broke his nose, and blood was everywhere. I know, great story bro. Moral of the story is...don't lock your fuckin knees!

I don't think it was staged. People get in a routine in day to day living. For example when you are getting ready to go to bed, maybe you'll take a shower, dry your hair, brush your hair, brush your teeth, make a lap around the house and make sure the doors are locked and the pet bowl has some food in it, then lay down and go to sleep. Try your nightly pattern and not do something. 8 times out of 10 you will not fall asleep as easily as if you had done all the chores. People get into routines and apparently she could be predicted to go drink some milk out of the carton at a certain point of her day.
