Barbaric Man Robs an ROTC Student Having a Seizure
Dallas police said a man robbed a teenager who was suffering a seizure.
Frank White, 33, took a wallet from 18-year-old Mississippi State University ROTC student Andrew Bow.
The incident happened at a downtown Greyhound bus station just before midnight on Tuesday, investigators said.
Surveillance video, which captured the robbery, shows a man approaching Bow, who was wearing desert fatigues and flailing on the sidewalk. The man then pulls a wallet from the Bow's back pocket.
Police have charged White with theft. He has a history of criminal trespassing.
It was not clear what caused the Bow's seizure.

18 Second Knock Out Leaves a Boxer in Bad Shape
The fighters had trash-talked each other leading up to the fight, with Green dismissing Codrington as a waste of time. So when the bell rang, he wasted little of it.
Green stunned Codrington with a left hook in the opening seconds of the fight, then rained down 15 more unanswered blows.
"And he has rocked Codrington's world," Showtime broadcaster Nick Charles bellowed. "It's over! Over in 18 seconds! Allan Green shocks the world! He absolutely devoured the New Yorker, Jaidon Codrington!"
Midway through the eruption, Codrington was already out cold, yet with the blows coming so fast, he took several more shots before the referee could finally jump in. But it was too late.
Codrington's limp body bent in half, and he slid between the second and third ring ropes, where he dangled face down like a wet towel hanging on a rack. His body was half in the ring and half out of the ring.
"Until I saw the fight [on tape], I didn't realize how awesome it was," Green said. "When I saw it for myself, I thought, 'Whoa!' To me, that was the worst knockout I have ever seen. It was brutal. I had not seen anything like that before, and I'm not being partial. I'm just being honest."

Environmentalists Attack a Speaker with Pies

A Brown University student was apprehended by Brown University police last night after allegedly throwing a green pie container filled with what appeared to be green whipped cream at a New York Times columnist who had been invited to speak to students about energy.
Thomas Friedman ducked the pies, which were thrown by two people who rushed the stage just after he stepped to the microphone. He avoided the brunt of the contents, stepped off stage for a few minutes, and returned to deliver his speech.

“We are grateful that Mr. Friedman went on to deliver his lecture to a full audience, who gave him a standing ovation,” reads a statement from Vice President of Public Affairs Michael Chapman.

The two rushed the stage with the pies, and then threw fliers into the crowd which aired their criticisms of Friedman’s views on the free market and climate change.

“Freedom of speech is prized on a university campus,” Chapman said in his statement, “While Brown students are encouraged to express their opinions on any subject and in a variety of forums, the University does not tolerate such assaults against a speaker or disrupting the right of others to hear a speaker’s perspectives.”

The student was placed in the custody of the Department of Public Safety. The school in a statement said it will review the incident through a “non-academic disciplinary system,” and determine what to do from there.

The first clip was the big guy intimidating the other guy into the booth. then the clip changes to a different view and you see the gunman return. the waitress walks about and turns around to look at the gunman just as he begins shooting.

8:48:08: The very first television report of an incident at the World Trade Center is broadcast locally in New York by WNYW less than two minutes after the plane crash into the North Tower. WNYW breaks into a Paramount Pictures movie trailer for Zoolander with the first live TV pictures of black smoke coming from the North Tower, relayed by a WNYW cameraman at ground level. One of the station's camera crews already had been out on the street that morning for New York's mayoral primary election. As WNYW broadcasts the first live pictures of smoke, the voice of reporter Dick Oliver is heard from the scene: "Jim, just a few moments ago, something believed to be a plane crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center." WNYW reporting would eventually correct the location of the first plane crash from the South Tower to the North Tower. Oliver was referring to WNYW anchor Jim Ryan, who was not seen or heard in the initial seconds of WNYW's first report of the disaster.

Two Hot Air Balloon Passengers Fall to their Deaths
Dean Mullin was watching TV when he heard his wife Arlene shouting from outside. As he looked out his back window, he saw the flaming balloon coming straight toward his trailer.
He slipped on his flip-flops and ran out the front door, escaping just as the balloon hit the top of his home, reducing it to a mass of black rubble and gutting two trailers on either side.
Windshields were blown out of two trucks parked outside, tires exploded and rearview mirrors and paneling melted on other vehicles.
"I was running too fast to look back. I wanted to find my wife and the grandkids," Mullin said. "I always tell my wife she's got a loud voice and to keep it down but I won't tell her to shut up anymore."
